What's it all about??
During 2001 waterski-az is introducing a unique sponsorship scheme. 
This is a mutual promotion partnership between skiers or wakeboarders and waterski-az. 
The athletes will promote the waterski-az brand by wearing waterski-az logo
cloths, displaying waterski-az stickers on equipment, and listing waterski-az
as their sponsor at all tournaments and during any press interviews.

In return waterski-az will follow the athletes' progress throughout the season.
Webspace and time will be given to athletes, and everything from the athletes'
practice performance bests, injuries, training plans, results, and planned
tournament timetable and photos will be published. 

This is very much a 2-way process and athletes must be prepared to keep
waterski-az full informed of what they are doing.  The more information
the athletes can give, the more information will be published.

As the website grows it is likely that potential sponsors will see promising talent
within Team-az and may offer full sponsorship deals.

Who is it for??
The scheme is for skiers and wakeboarders who have the talent, but not the sponsors*.  Athletes must
be of international standard attending and compete at least 3 International events during the season.

The scheme is designed to increase awareness of both parties, therefore the athletes must
be active in their National League or Tour and as well as attending and competing in
international events.

The athlete's age is irrelevant for this scheme.

The scheme is limited to 4-5 athletes during the 2001 season.
