Federico was born on 11 January 1980.

He has been skiing since he was 9.

He is a second year university student. Next year he is going to be studying University of Louisiana, so he could be rubbing shoulders with Tony Lightfoot and Damien Sharman at Bennett's.

Most of his Summer training takes place at Water Ski Club of Ravenna in Italy, and at Recetto with Tanguy Benet.

Last year Federico spent the Spring at Swiss Ski School in Orlando, Fl.

He's been a member of the Italian National Team since the tender age of 14 - just 5 years after he started skiing.

Now skiing on 66" HO Phantom 2000 and 88" Goodman Jumpers, he has a slalom competition personal best of 4@11.25m/36mph which he got at the World Cup Stop at Recetto.

Federico has posted a personal best of 2.5@10.75/36mph in practice also at Recetto

In jump he has posted a competition PB of 55.1m at Ravenna KLI, and has reached 58m in practice at Recetto.

September 2001 - Yet another jump PB. This time at the under 21 Europeans
Federico jumped 58 metres.

August 2001 - Another PB in jump! At the second stop of the Italian Cup,
Federico jumped 56.2 metres.

July 2001 - Federico has beaten his jump and slalom PBs at the Italian Nationals.
He ran 1.5@10.75 and jumped 55.6m at Recetto.

July 2001 - Federico has beaten his jump PB with a jump
of 55.5m at Lendorf, Austria

17 June 2001 - Federico matches his PB of last year in bad weather at Torino.
Next stop 3 round slalom at Recetto.

24 March 2001 - Federico is going to be spending April at Swiss Ski School
in Orlando, Florida.

4 February 2001 - IWSF Rankings released.
