White Stuff British Wakeboard Tour - Round 2

       SHELTON AND NOTT TAKE TAMWORTH       

The second stop of the White Stuff UK Wakeboard Tour 2000 took place at the West Midlands water-ski club, Tamworth, Staffordshire on the 17th & 18th June.

Fifty-three competitors traveled from around the country to do battle to win some very desirable prizes donated by JMC Holidays, Gul Wetsuits, Reef Brazil shoes and scandals, F2 Snowboards, Aquatic Sports and Wakeboard UK.

The day again Belonged to Sixteen-year-old Dan Nott, with two out of two wins now under his belt ,he proved why he is the undisputed champion of wakeboarding in the UK at the moment with a superb run that included front side back wing, whirly bird, Moby Dick, off-axis 540 & Blind 360. Although Dan won there were five riders all in contention of the 2nd & 3rd place finish.

Jake Crowhusrt was successful in toping the pile,bettering his 3rd place finish at Reading with a silver medal and Karl Seyfang had to be content with 4th place after 99 intermediate National champion Kent James made it onto the medal podium for the first time this season as a open men competitor.

In ladies Louise Shelton took her second tour win of the season extending her lead on the 2000 tour, Louise extended her lead in front of Will Christen who made a welcome return to the UK scene after only recently returned from a winter traveling down under in Australia. Louise Moore just missed out on second silver finishing third.
